River & Weather Conditions
Tipi Adventure is not significantly affected by normal weather patterns, so clients may not cancel/amend an adventure based on weather forecasts or inclemency before or during the adventure.
Tipi Adventure daily check the river levels to ascertain that it is within our stated safety limits to permit guests to canoe. If it is above our first point then the canoes will be paired together with rafting poles (where an odd number is booked, Tipi will supply the additional canoe). If the water is above our second point or anticipated to rise or increase flow then the canoe hire will be cancelled with refunds available to the client. If this occurs during an Adventure, Tipi staff will contact the resident guests by phone or visit to prevent canoes being placed on the water. The Tipi reservation will stand with clients offered the option of tipi only or walking.
If the River Wye is forecast to rise to a level that would infringe on to a Tipi site then Tipi Adventure Ltd will give the clients as much notice as practically possible to arrange an alternative date on which they could attend a Tipi Adventure. This will be on an equivalent cost night on a like for like basis.
Tipi Adventure's responsibility and financial liability shall be limited to the return of monies received in the event of either the tipi or canoe(s) booked in good faith not being available or curtailed due to river levels or other causes beyond their control.
Customers booking by telephone will be deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and conditions.
